Digitalising real estate data to enhance property portfolio
Context
I designed the audit platform for Trustek, a PropTech consultancy that helps real-estate companies assess and implement smart building technologies. The platform enables building audits to be carried out in a structured and scalable way, allowing teams to capture, analyse, and manage complex building data efficiently.

Role: UX & Concept, UI Design
Designing the audit platform involved addressing several UI challenges inherent in complex, multi-step workflows. The platform needed to support detailed building audits that require users to navigate large amounts of structured information, make assessments across multiple systems, and capture data consistently in the field.
A key challenge was simplifying complex flows so that users could move through the audit process intuitively without losing context. This required carefully structuring information architecture, breaking down tasks into manageable steps, and designing clear navigation patterns that help users understand where they are in the process and what comes next.
Another challenge was balancing flexibility with guidance. The platform had to accommodate different building types, technologies, and audit scenarios, while still providing enough structure to ensure consistent data collection and reliable outcomes. The interface therefore needed to guide users through decision points without overwhelming them with options.
Because audits are often carried out on-site, usability and efficiency were critical. The design focused on reducing cognitive load, minimising repetitive input, and ensuring that key actions and information were easily accessible. Clear visual hierarchy and thoughtful interaction patterns were used to keep complex workflows manageable and user-friendly.
