Icon design – Large Bespoke Icon Set

Designed and evolved a scalable custom icon system for HMD Global, covering both standard UI icons and specialised feature iconography for smartphones, feature phones, tablets, and web platforms. The icon library was created to work seamlessly across multiple screen sizes while staying true to HMD’s visual identity and familiar platform conventions.

Using a clean, minimalist single-colour style without shadows or decorative elements, the icons deliver clarity, consistency, and excellent legibility across a wide range of user interfaces and digital experiences.

Creating iconography requires meticulous attention to detail – every pixel, line, and curve shapes the user experience.
