Redesigning a complex PropTech platform into a simple, user-centred experience
Trustek is a specialist PropTech consultancy that helps commercial real estate owners, developers, and operators make informed technology decisions. Their services include Technology Audits, helping clients future-proof buildings, improve operational performance, and navigate an increasingly complex property technology landscape.
My role was to design Trustek’s digital audit platform, turning complex business processes into an intuitive, modern user experience that clearly guides the user trough the process of a property audit.

The Challenge
The project started by analysing the existing platform and identifying opportunities to simplify navigation, improve content hierarchy, and reduce friction throughout the user journey.
A modular design system was created to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficient development. Complex property technology concepts were translated into smart layouts, clear visual hierarchy, and intuitive interfaces that made technical information easier to understand without oversimplifying it.
Working closely with stakeholders throughout the project allowed design decisions to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility.
My Role
As UI/UX Designer, working closely with the client, I was responsible for the end-to-end redesign of the platform, including:
- UX strategy and user journey design
- Information architecture
- Wireframing and interaction design
- High-fidelity UI design
- Design system creation
- Collaboration with the CTO and development team
Design Approach
Making complex flows, large data sets and interactions clear and easy to understand and navigate.
Wireframing and high-fidelity UI of main SaaS platform and interactive reporting tool.
The Outcome
The redesigned platform provides Trustek with a scalable digital foundation for their core business function; to gather technical information of office buildings to provide deep insight and data, to make it easy for asset managers to analyse, improve and invest in their buildings. Generating detailed reports and compare charts.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful UX design can transform highly technical products into accessible, user-centred digital experiences – helping businesses communicate more clearly, improve engagement, and support long-term growth.
