Imperial Hotel London – Website

A bold digital reinvention for one of London’s largest hotel groups. This family-run business invited us to reimagine their entire online presence - from website to booking.

Context

Collaborated with the team at Noetic Marketing Technologies on a major, long-term digital transformation for the Imperial Hotel London Group.
Our work included a complete overhaul of existing digital products – website, booking flow, ticket office, and reservation software – alongside the creation of new customer touchpoints such as a mobile app and a self-service kiosk tool.

Involvement

This project came with its share of complexity and challenge – particularly in integrating the room reservation and booking UX with the hotel’s existing Opera platform and other technical constraints. Despite those limitations, the client and hotel owners were refreshingly open to new ideas and functionality.

Working closely with the product owner, I led the concept and UI development, applying my full range of UX and UI skills to design a new online booking experience across the hotel website, native app, and the admin interface for their in-house reservation software. I even contributed to a few print brochures along the way.

Balancing the needs of users, stakeholders, platform limitations, budget, resources – and my own drive for design excellence – was a constant juggle. But the freedom and trust I was given allowed me to explore creative solutions and incorporate clever tools, ultimately shaping a more intuitive and successful product.

Note

The website has since 2021 undergone another redesign. Which wasn’t done by Noetic.
